Continuing education is an important part of our philosophy at Cary Family Dental. Both Drs. Acton and Gaught participate in continuing education courses in dentistry every year, and recently Dr. Acton attended a week long class in Seattle. The 50 hour course provided information on how to create a better and more comprehensively treatment plan, diagnose and treat complex dental needs including periodontal disease (gum and bone problems), cavities, and jaw and bite problems.
The course was put on by the Kois Center, a world renowned dental organization, and one of the top programs of its kind in the country. There were 22 dentists from around the world at this particular course, one half of which were from Europe. Courses like these help Cary Family Dental to consistently provide the Cary community with state-of-the-art dental care and clinical excellence.
