Dr. Bryant Wooten, DDS

Dr. Bryant Wooten dentist in Cary, NC

Rooted in Cary. Focused on People. Passionate about Care.

Known for his gentle approach and calming presence, Dr. Bryant Wooten believes dentistry is as much about connection as it is about clinical skill. He has a gift for helping patients who feel anxious or haven’t been to the dentist in years — listening first, explaining clearly, and creating a calm, respectful space where trust can grow. He especially enjoys smile makeover cases and Invisalign, where he can help patients regain confidence, function, and comfort through their smiles.

Dr. Wooten was born and raised in Cary, and his roots here run deep. His grandparents moved to the area in the 1950s, and his dad grew up just behind the office where he now practices. After more than a decade away, he’s proud to be back home serving the community that shaped him.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. During dental school, he received the National Health Service Corps Scholarship, reflecting his commitment to increasing access to care. He went on to practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Philadelphia and served as an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry before transitioning to private practice in Richmond.

His connection to Cary Family Dental actually began years ago, when he volunteered at one of the practice’s free care events while in college. The combination of clinical excellence and heartfelt service left a lasting impression — and helped confirm his path toward dentistry. After staying in touch with Dr. Acton, returning to Cary and joining the team felt like a natural next chapter.

Outside the office, Dr. Wooten is a former springboard diver for UNC Chapel Hill and now coaches local high school and youth teams. He also enjoys discovering new restaurants around the Triangle — and always welcomes patient recommendations. His guiding philosophy is simple but powerful: Be kind, and treat people the way you would treat your own family.
