Our Journey to Change the World Continues

Owner & Founder, Cary Family Dental

In the past, I’ve written about my vision for this practice and in particular, how it has evolved over time. I am writing again to share with you why our practice has chosen to expand to a second location right here in Cary.

Our Story

As a young dentist, equipped with the latest training and education in the dental industry, I set out to change the world. From the very beginning, I was encouraged by our ability to impact individual lives by providing quality and compassionate care.

There was nothing more fulfilling than being able to relieve someone from pain or embarrassment from their smile. I quickly learned though, that I wasn’t fully prepared for the obstacles that would prevent us from fulfilling this vision over time – the utmost of these being the struggle to keep up with the fast-growing population in Wake County.

After just 5 years in practice, we outgrew our space and decided to move into a new location that would double our treatment rooms and our ability to see patients when and where they wanted. Now don’t get me wrong, renovating an old real estate building, filling it with the newest technology, and designing a comfortable place where patients would enjoy coming was not the easiest thing I’ve ever done…but it was well worth it!

It allowed us to offer better appointment times, same day treatment, and top-notch treatment technologies to our patients. We heard overwhelmingly positive feedback from our patients when we made these extended services available in a new space.

Now, over a decade later, we have become one of the most accomplished and trusted practices in the area. The support of our patients and dedication of our team members has prepared us to be more effective than ever before in carrying out the vision of changing lives through dentistry.

Moving Forward

Over the years, we’ve seen how important it is to adapt and evolve to our community if we expect to be able to offer the best service to those in our area. The biggest ways we make a difference to our patients is by (1) changing the way they feel about their teeth and (2) changing the way they feel about going to the dentist.

If we cannot create capacity for our current patients and new members of the community to see us in a convenient and comfortable place, then we fail to provide the difference we’ve promised. With the population of Wake County still growing at a tremendous rate, we know it is important that our practice makes room for patients to bring their friends and family to a provider they trust.

Our current office building will remain open, but we will expand our services by opening a second state-of-the-art facility ½ mile down the road. The new location will benefit our patients by offering more early morning and late afternoon appointments, easy access to parking, and more opportunities to receive specialty services and same day treatment. We are also excited about the impact we’ll have in the community, by increasing our charitable giving capacity, creating new jobs and partnering with local businesses. Not to mention, we are giving this old Cary building a total makeover!

We couldn’t be more excited about all that this new space will mean for our patients and the community. We want to invite you into this process and so we’ve created a page for you to access information on our new space. As of now, the construction on this building is scheduled to be completed this summer and we plan on host a big grand opening event for you in September.

Making a Difference

My job allows me to play a part in easing the fear many people feel when visiting the dentist and the insecurities others have about the way their teeth look. It’s a lot of fun to see how after only a single visit, people change the way they’ve thought about the dentist or about their smile for years.

I’ve dedicated my career to helping people along this process and I’ve learned so much about how having a confident, attractive and functioning smile can have on a person’s relationships, career, and overall health and there are many stories that have inspired us along the way. Looking ahead, we can hardly wait to see how this next chapter in our practice will influence more lives in our community.
