Covid-19 and Our Office Update:

By April 27, 2020May 4th, 2022No Comments

Dear Valued Patients,

Today marks the 37th day since having to suspend our practice’s elective procedures and hygiene services. It does appear that we should be able to begin opening back up around May 9, pending that our state meets the required health markers to do so. Behind the scenes, our practice is preparing to follow the guidelines set forth by all major health organizations, the local and federal governments, and accredited dental associations. We are working hard to implement guidelines that will maintain both the safety of our patients and our team during this unprecedented time. In the upcoming weeks, please keep an eye on your email, as you will be receiving more information on these updated protocols and our reopening date.

A Note About Emergencies
Sadly, even in times like these, dental emergencies will continue to appear. I am talking to and seeing patients almost every day that have had some kind of dental emergency. These include toothaches, infections, broken teeth, and displaced crowns – just to name a few. A few weeks ago, I filmed this video to help you navigate certain emergencies from home. Of course, if you are having any dental issues that extend beyond the scope of my video, you can contact me at the office during the week, or on my cell phone if we are closed. Those numbers are as follows:

Office: 919-371-4428
Cell (call or text): 919-616-2404

I know that myself and my team are very much looking forward to getting back to work and seeing everyone again very soon. We hope to be able to serve you again come May 9. Until then, let’s continue to flatten the curve.

Sincerely,
Allan Acton, DDS
