Cary Family Dental is proud to announce that we been ranked in the Top 5 Percent of national Smiles for Life fundraising participants. Dr. Allan Acton and our team raised over $65,000 to benefit children’s charities, and ranked #17 out of the 400 Crown Council dental practices throughout North America that participated in the annual Smiles for Life campaign.
During the four-month Smiles for Life campaign, Crown Council members offer teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price. Through a unique partnership with legendary entertainer Garth Brooks and his Teammates For Kids Foundation, Smiles for Life guarantees that half of the money raised by Crown Council members goes to children’s charities in communities across North America. The remaining half goes to the charity chosen by the dental practice. For the second year in a row, Cary Family Dental Family Dental selected Interact, the only confidential domestic violence prevention program serving Wake County’s twelve municipalities.
Dr. Acton is proud of our partnership with Crown Council and the money and awareness that Cary Family Dental has able to raise through the Smiles for Life Campaign. Last year, after raising $20,000 for the campaign, Dr. Acton even shaved his head in response to a colleague’s dare.
