Cary Family Dental Nominated for Two Crown Council Awards
CARY, NC – December 19, 2007 – Cary Family Dental has been nominated for two Crown Council Awards. Allan Acton, DDS has been nominated for the Crown Council’s “Best Doctor to Work For” award and Beth Hertrick has been nominated for “Best Office Manager”. The Crown Council is a multi-national alliance of leading-edge dental teams dedicated to raising the standard of dental care and becoming leaders in health, wellness, and prevention in their communities.
Dr. Acton is one of nine dental professionals nominated to receive this award and Ms. Hertrick is one of five office managers nominated. The Crown Council award recognizes professionals among Crown Council’s members in the United States and Canada who have “certain magical qualities that make him/her the very best of his/her profession” and who are “hard-working, caring, personable, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, up-beat, enthusiastic, compassionate, funny, and positive.”
Dr. Acton and his team recently took part in the Crown Council’s Smiles for Life campaign, where Cary Family Dental raised over $20,000 by offering teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price. Half of the funds raised were contributed to the Garth Brooks’ Teammates For Kids Foundation for use in health, education, and inner city programs that benefit children. The other half was contributed to Triangle Downs Syndrome.
The winner of the award will be announced at The Crown Council’s Annual Event in Nashville, TN in January of 2008.
