A Happy Accident
Dennis came to Cary Family Dental thinking he’d get implants. Unhappy with his smile, he’d done his own research and guessed that implants would fix his problems. When we met Dennis, however, we decided to go with a different treatment plan that would give him the smile he’d always wanted.
During Dennis’ consult, he told us that he didn’t like that his teeth were uneven and that he wished they were whiter. “My original teeth had worn down and weren’t straight any longer, “he told us. “I didn’t think I had a good smile at all.”

Dennis was happy to hear that the fix we’d recommend – the placement of crowns – was not nearly as invasive as implants. Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps that are placed over teeth to restore the size, shape, strength and appearance of healthy teeth. We placed the crowns on his front teeth and removed some of his cavities to give him his perfect smile. Dennis said that he is very pleased with his new smile.
“My experience here was very good,” he told us. “Everyone was so anxious to please.”
