Cary, N.C. – Dr. Allan Acton is proud to announce he has added a new associate dentist to his team – Dr. Parth Parekh. Dr. Acton is the owner and founder of Cary Family Dental, practicing general, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry in the western suburbs of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Originally from Albany, New York, Dr. Parekh graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo with a B.S. in biomedical sciences and a minor in mathematics, and graduated top 10 in his class while earning a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Before joining the Cary Family Dental team, Dr. Parekh completed a two-year general practice residency at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he received extensive training in surgical and implant dentistry, intravenous (I.V.) sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, Invisalign, and managing medically compromised and anxious patients.
Dr. Parekh is one of the youngest recipients in the nation of the highly coveted fellowship in the International Congress of Implantologists, after having placed over 200 implants during his time in residency. In addition, he is one of the few dentists who have passed the written test and is pursuing a Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
With the addition of Dr. Parekh, Cary Family Dental will begin offering I.V. sedation to patients in the community. Cary Family Dental also offers a comprehensive list of dental services, including general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, emergency dental care, and snoring and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Parekh will begin seeing patients in January of 2018 at the Cary Family Dental practice located at 1149 Kildaire Farm Road.
