a perfect fit

Cary, NC — Missing or damaged teeth can make you eat differently, talk differently and feel like someone else entirely. That’s how Kay felt when she first came to our office, but we helped her feel like her old self again as soon as possible.

A Perfect Fit

“I needed to replace several teeth, and it was a long process,” Kay told us after we’d completed her dental work and given her a new smile. “But then I met Dr. Acton, who I felt really knew what he was doing.”

Kay went on to explain that she’d had a frustrating journey. She’d had several missing teeth, which made her embarrassed to smile and also made it hard for her to eat the foods she wanted. As a result, her diet changed and her health suffered. Kay visited several dentists before she found our office. Between Dr. Acton and the rest of the staff at Cary Family Dental, we were her perfect fit.

Getting Kay’s Smile Back

Kay had been uncomfortable for too long, so Dr. Acton came up with a treatment plan that could help her get her old smile back – and fast!

We gave Kay partial dentures, which are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw. We kept Kay’s remaining teeth and replaced her missing teeth with partials. A removable partial denture, sometimes called a bridge, consists of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored plastic base. This base was connected by metal framework to hold the denture in-place in Kay’s mouth.

Now, Kay is happy and confident again, and she’s able to eat what she wants.

He knew the best way to help me out. My experience was great, and the staff were very nice to me and very professional. I’m excited about my new teeth. I feel more confident when going out in public, because I used to have so many missing teeth. Now, I feel good about myself. I feel much better, and I’m excited to getting used to eating with my new teeth.

Kay didn’t even want to smile when she first came to our office – but that sure changed quickly!
