Cary Family Dental and Cary Magazine Now Accepting Nominations for the Cary Smile Makeover
Contest to award one winner dental work valued up to $20,000
CARY, NC – March 6, 2009 – Cary Family Dental and Cary Magazine are partnering to award one person the “smile of a lifetime” with their Cary Smile Makeover contest (www.carysmilemakeover.com). The contest is open to women of Western Wake County who would like to have a better, more beautiful smile. Dr. Allan Acton, of Cary Family Dental, will be performing the dental work and has received the endorsement of Dr. Bill Dorfman of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover” and CBS’ “The Doctors”.

Dr. Acton opened Cary Family Dental in 2003 and since that time, has become one of the Triangle’s most accomplished and trusted dentists. In November 2007, he completed 216 hours of continued education in a nine-month implant continuum taught by the Triangle Dental Institute in Research Triangle Park, NC. In 2008, Dr. Acton graduated with honors from The Hornbrook Group’s distinguished national training program and completed training on the DuraTHIN veneer. He has been voted “Best Cosmetic Dentist” in western Wake County by Cary Magazine readers for both 2008 and 2009, and most recently received a Fellowship Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Cary Family Dental and Cary Magazine will only be accepting nominations on their website until March 31. All nominations will be reviewed by the contest sponsors and a final group of makeover finalists will be posted to the website for public voting. Entrants must be 21 years of age or older and must comply with all contest rules and guidelines. The Cary Smile Makeover winner will be announced by May 15 and will be eligible for a smile makeover valued up to $20,000.
